Doctrine
If you are thinking of baptism or are new to church and faith, you are welcomed to join Pastor Johnny Cheung in discussing the Bible. Doctrine by Francis Chan, is an in-depth look at the Bible and Christianity. This class will aim to answer questions about the Trinity, creation, sin, salvation, and any other tough questions about faith or God.

Evangelism Everywhere
Sharing the gospel is a fundamental part of our theme of blessing others. As believers, we are blessed with opportunities to share our faith, but we do not always know when to act or what to say. The goal of Evangelism Everywhere is to prepare its students to share the gospel with friends, family or strangers. Students should expect to be challenged and encouraged by this class. Weekly sharing trips to places like Tim Horton’s should be expected!

This course will use Bill Hybel’s Just Walk Across the Room as supplementary materials.

Christian Media
Christian Media will focus on the movie and book, Blue Like Jazz and the mini-series, You Lost Me. This course aims to critically examine apostasy (turning from faith) and the reasons for our beliefs and disbelief. Students are strongly encouraged to ask difficult questions and prepare themselves for real in-depth discussions about God and faith. New comers are welcome and strongly encouraged to join this course.

This course will use You Lost Me by David Kinnamen and Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller as course materials.

Romans and Jonah Bible Study
Romans is often called the letter that changed the world. This course will delve into the importance of this letter penned by Paul.  If you have ever wanted to know more about grace, salvation and God’s promise for everyone, this course will explore those answers. The second half of this course will be on the book of Jonah. Jonah was a prophet in the Old Testament who rebelled against God’s direct command. Using Jonah, this course will explore the extent of God’s constant love and pursuit of us in spite of our rebellion, disobedience and disbelief.
This course will use Romans: The Letter That Changed the World by Tommy Nelson, and Surprised by Grace by Tullian Tchividjian as supplementary materials.
